Learn Devon is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Communications and Marketing Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the promotion of adult learning across Devon, helping people access education, gain skills and improve their life chances. Working alongside our Marketing and Communications Officer, you will contribute to a wide range of digital and printed communications, supporting campaigns, learner engagement activities, events and service promotions.
About the role
You will support the delivery of communications and marketing activities across Learn Devon. This will include:
- Creating engaging content for social media, newsletters and printed materials.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of the Learn Devon website, ensuring content is accurate, accessible and audience focused.
- Assisting with engagement campaigns, promotional activities and events.
- Producing marketing resources that promote learning opportunities and celebrate learner success.
- Using website analytics and learner feedback to help improve communications and engagement.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience creating engaging digital content and managing social media channels.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Is organised, creative and able to manage a variety of tasks.
- Has strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and digital design tools such as Canva or the Adobe Suite
- Understands the importance of accessible communications and audience engagement.
