About you:

We would welcome applications from experienced and motivated candidates who have strong communication and negotiation skills with a pragmatic solution focused approach, who are ready to work in our small commercial team of surveyors to support a wide range of estates functions.

The ideal candidate should be well organised, capable of independent work, able to manage changing priorities and resilient to the pressures of a busy and varied caseload; they will be a dynamic team member with a can-do attitude suitable for managing a diverse property portfolio.

About the role:

The Council has an extensive and diverse property portfolio which includes retail, light industrial, offices, leisure and community premises, arts venues, and a shopping centre located across the City. Our portfolio generates significant income which needs to be proactively managed to enable rental and capital growth. The Estates team is a small but busy commercially focussed unit working across this portfolio providing estate management, valuation and property advice.
