37 hours – Monday to Friday (annualised hours)

Key Responsibilities
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Grass cutting (mowing and strimming)
- Attending to flower beds
- Hedge cutting
- Hoeing and general weed control
- Litter and leaf collection
- Cemetery work (including some hand grave digging)
- Assist with tree and arboriculture work
- Miscellaneous work in emergency situations
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Flexible approach to work and positive attitude towards delivering services to the community
- A driving licence is essential for driving to site, mowers and tractors
- Trailer towing entitlement will be advantageous
- Knowledge of horticultural work; grass cutting, strimming and machinery used
