About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Devon County Council’s Childcare Sufficiency Team at a pivotal time as we continue to deliver the Government’s expansion of school-aged childcare and wraparound provision across Devon.

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and organised School Aged Childcare and Sufficiency Support Officers to provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the team. The post will help deliver Devon County Council’s statutory duty to secure sufficient childcare for school-aged children and support the ongoing development of accessible, affordable and inclusive childcare across the county.

Working with schools, childcare providers and colleagues across Children’s Services, you will support a range of projects including wraparound childcare, holiday provision and childcare sufficiency planning.
