Role Summary & Benefits
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant and MDSA/Playleader to support children with complex learning needs at St John’s Catholic Primary School.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be someone who
- Supports the Catholic ethos of our school, knowing all are welcome.
- Has experience working with children who have complex special educational needs
- Is professional, flexible and able to work collaboratively with other members of the staff team.
- Is an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community.
- Is patient and understanding when working with children.
- Has a good knowledge of how to support learning and has practical ideas on how to achieve this.
- Has a willingness to undertake training, including Team Teach
- Has excellent behaviour management skills
- Is enthusiastic with a good sense of humour
- Will support OPAL play
